While my education specialised in Mechanical Engineering (B Tech. National Institute of Technology Karnataka, India) and Industrial Engineering (M Sc. Georgia Institute of Technology, USA), I have always been a bona fide data geek. I joined Sabre Airline Solutions as an intern and went on to become a Subject Matter Expert on Planning and Profitability Analysis Solutions. In my time there, I worked closely with airlines in over 10 countries to drive data-driven planning and optimisation cycles, initially in the Americas and subsequently in EMEA and APAC. I oversaw the entire analytics behind forecasting and running the numbers behind the successful merger of two of South America’s largest Airlines.
My love for all things data and harnessing it to solve critical business problems saw me joining hands with Kavita to start Voiro in 2012. Media houses and publishers are now moving from legacy systems towards technology adoption to understand consumer consumption patterns and leverage its full potential. However, there is very little the IT industry offers to suit their specific needs. I see a massive potential to redefine the industry standard and am constantly working towards building Voiro as the gold standard for data, revenue and intelligence.
At Voiro, I handle Business and Product Strategy and — as a founding member and data enthusiast — a little bit of everything. I enjoy the grind; the long and involved hours to see something fruitful come out of it. I try and keep my day organised and like productivity hacks. My work mantra is work hard, be nice and everything will follow.
